I am a speedball

whirling crazily into the ocean

I am its aftermath

music and words have taken over

flying with song

I am a beautiful boat

with no names for its passengers

I am too tired to speak

arguing with myself for no reason

I am unimaginable sweetness

I am too finite to notice

when sound is gone

My face rose over

the grey pastel ocean

The sun swam inside my body

talking to cells who remember

within the walls that protect

the love I have shared

with whoever passed by
